charge of running the various schemes/Projects, formulating
policies, planning, organizing, co-ordinating the activities
and implementing the programmes. |

To co-ordinate with other line departments like Agril,
Horticulture, Rural Development, Sericulture, Forestry,
Fisheries, Industries & commerce, Women & child
development, UAS, NABARD and international organizations
like DANIDA, World Bank etc. to achieve its goals.
